Caldoja is THE Middle Eastern Rapper and Emcee based out of Detroit, MI. Calvin Daniel Kassab aka. CalDoJa was born and raised in the rural town of Dryden, MI growing up with music influences like Led Zeppelin, Green Day, Run DMC, Aerosmith, and Nirvana. He began writing short stories, poetry, and songs as a hobby since the age of 11 and continues to write to this day, finding a true passion in it. A family tragedy moved Calvin & his family out of the rural town of Dryden to the urban life of metro Detroit, where CalDoJa was introduced to the 90’s hip-hop lifestyle by artist such as Tupac, DMX, Nas, and Notorious BIG. CalDoJa began finding another true passion, music. Using his writing skills and influences from the rock-n-roll and hip-hop genres, CalDoJa began meshing the two and finding a unique sound. However, he put his musical ambitions on hold to go to nursing school, a decision he made for his brother, Danny. (See: Danny's Miracle Angel Network) CalDoJa released his first mix tape in 2011 titled “The Resume” which contained a variety of remixes to popular songs at the time.

CalDoJa performs in the metro Detroit area with regional appearances as well. CalDoJa music is available worldwide in dozens of online stores including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Xbox music, and more. CalDoJa intends to use his artistic skills in music and filmmaking to create a fan experience like no other. CalDoJa has a real passion for music, art, and entertainment which he hopes to share with everyone in the world.
Danny’s Miracle Angel Network: (D-MAN) CalDoJa is also involved in the community helping start a non-profit organization to help those with physical and mental handicap make music in a professional studio, without the use go their hands or feet. The Foundation “D-MAN” stand for Danny’s Miracle Angel Network, which was inspired by Calvin's younger brother Danny, a quadriplegic for 16 years before passing away in 2009.
